This is the baby quilt I made for a family friend of many years, Dee Palmateer. I like to make bright quilts to stimulate infants, I feel like falling asleep when I work with pastels too much. When Dee's sister first saw the quilt, her first words were "awfully BRIGHT, isn't it?" Duh, that's the idea. But at least the mom herself liked it, but I never heard from the kid.... LOL
